Closing Prayer
Father,
Thank you for the story of the Good Samaritan.
Thank you for showing us what real love looks like.
Help us not to walk past hurting people.
When we are too busy to see - open our eyes.
When we want to keep walking - slow our feet.
When we want to ignore - fill our hearts.
When kindness costs something - make us brave.
Give us courage this week to GO and do likewise - to be a real neighbour to someone who needs us.
In the name of Jesus.
