Combined-choir tradition for major celebrations [Coordinator / Director — to confirm]
The Mass Choir is the combined ministry of all HBC’s singing groups when they come together as one voice — the Senior Choir, the Junior Choir, the Men’s Fellowship (which occupies the choir seats on every 4th Sunday with a special rendition), the Rejoice Group, and any other singing ministries of the church. The Mass Choir typically sings at the largest celebration services in the church calendar: the church anniversary, the 125th anniversary itself in July 2015, major Gospel concerts, and the anniversary services of the founding.
The historical primary sources do not contain a stand-alone “Mass Choir” chapter; the term is used in the church’s current life to denote the combined choirs assembling. The current coordinator and the typical programme should be confirmed with the choir leaders.
Sources: inference from [125th] structure; specific Mass Choir details to be confirmed.
