You will be most welcome! Harlesden Baptist Church at 27 Acton Lane, London NW10 8UX has been constituted as a fellowship since 8th May 1890. Our minister is Revd. Dr. C. Mereweather-Thompson, and our secretary is Deaconess Sonia McCatty.

What we believe

Our Mission Statement

What we offer

A place where everyone will feel at home. An inclusive community where everyone is important irrespective of gender, race, and nationality. A place where you can grow and develop confidence and faith.

This is the fellowship where everyone is valued, where everyone is affirmed, and where every gift is encouraged.

God is doing exciting things here through the following organisations:

Worship

You will experience a variety of worship patterns. We have a vibrant praise and worship team. We praise God with hymns, choruses, music and dance.

Teams

We have teams that assist immensely with our ministry:

Good news — with your skill and commitment you could serve in these teams.

Membership

We receive into membership those who come by profession of faith and transfer from Baptist churches. We also encourage Open Membership, which is open to all those who have repented of their sins and have received Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour and Lord.

We lay strong emphasis on believer's baptism and receive into fellowship those who have been baptised as believers.

Although we accept Open Membership — whereby we receive people who may have been baptised as infants and come into faith in Jesus Christ without believer's baptism — we continue to teach and encourage such people to be immersed in believer's baptism.
